A can't miss opportunity to learn from one of the world's most jaw dropping artists. For the first time Clio Newton will be coming to Australia to share her unique approach to portraiture and mastery of charcoal in this exclusive 5 day workshop.
 
For 5 immersive days Newton will share her secrets for creating a large-format portrait in charcoal from start to finish. Students will develop a confident understanding of how to compose reference material, approach scale and proportion in their work and bring a drawing from an idea to a finished piece. Clio shares her process directly, offering individual feedback throughout. All levels of experience are welcome.
 
All students will have a front row seat to proceedings with demos conducted live on stage backed by a 100 inch demo display and 55 inch palette display and mic'd up stereo sound.
